Dr Geraldine Tan

Geraldine Tan is a Senior Manager within the facilities team at the University of Western Australia, where she leads strategic sustainability initiatives across the University's infrastructure and asset portfolio.

With more than 20 years experience at UWA in both academic and professional roles, she has spearheaded the University's sustainability agenda, including its Environmental Sustainability Strategy, emissions inventory and reporting, carbon reduction programs, and renewable energy procurement. Geraldine has helped the University achieve carbon neutrality of its operational (Scope 1 and 2) emissions and continues to play a key role in its climate and transition planning.
